Schumacher CAT SX2-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
This kit absolutely Rocks! I had a B4, B44, and got a Cougar and was immediately sold on Schumacher, so I decided to try a Cat, I was debating between the Durango and this, and am very happy I made the decision to go with a Cat (not to say the Durango sucks or anything, it seems to be a great car too). Just like the Cougar it is an Engineering and craftsmanship work of art and the quality is top notch, (nothing I've seen in the 10th scale world compares to it, except maybe the Durango kit that you can buy two of these for). Durability is about as good as you can get for a 10th scale 4x4, (way better than my B44 or so far better or on par with most of the other Durangos, B44s and Lazers I've raced against at the local track). working on it is a breeze, as while it looks complex it's so well thought out that it's a breath of fresh air in 10th scale 4x4 RC. It drives like a dream, so smooth it's almost uncanny and more steering while at the same time being easier to drive than any 4x4 buggy I've driven, B44, Lazer, Durango. (the Durango has more steering but is WAY twitcher). Put it this way, a factory team driver for a different company drove mine (with the out of the box set-up) and wanted to trade (half joking of course since he can't) Of course the only draw back is the parts availability since not a lot of people here carry Schumacher. Of course A-main seems to be doing a great job of stocking their stuff. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone that is into RC enough to be willing to stock some parts. So far I would say upgrading to the Ti (purple) turnbuckles would be a good idea, 4 hole rear shock pistons (really calm the rear down if you run on a track with good sized jumps), and possibly the Aluminum front susp. mounts and Steering rack, since those have been the only parts I have been able to break thus far (with some really good wrecks!). But that said, I deserved to break when I did and I'm sure I would have broken any car in those wrecks including a slash (actually one of them involved a Slash jumping the course onto the strait away with me going full throttle down it and we both broke). I have seen a couple guys in a good front end wreck break front shock shafts too so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a couple of those too. Obviously if your hard core, just buy two kits (i got one CF and one S1, not to say I'm hard core though) as the parts are all the same and I don't think I'll break any of the Woven Carbon Fiber stuff often if ever which is the difference between the kits (the S1 is basically fiberglass), and you won't have to worry about having spares, and just re-stock if you do need something, it's nice cause I even have a set of prebuilt diffs and shocks for set-up testing and quick change in "the event" on a race day and in the end (having a spare of every single part of the car on hand I still spent around the same as the DEX 410 kit, while again, it (the Durango) definitely does not seem any more durable or "better" than this ride. As a guy at the local track who owns both, and TQ'd and Won the A-main in a full field of Durangos and B44s, in his first race with his Cat said, "it's way easier to drive fast". I had the same thought with it compared to my B44 and it's way way easier to work on and so far has been much less maintenance. And as far as my biggest concern when I bought it, the belt system has been flawless, zero maintenance in a month of use, and more efficient than the drive shaft system on my B44 (same electronics and its much faster and runs way cooler), and has not had a single problem including some good bashing sessions on our gravel, dirt, mud parking lot at my work. This thing is like the McLaren F1 car of the off road 4x4 buggy world!

Schumacher CAT SX2-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
This is an awesome ride! I am not sure why others isn't pushing the Cat sx2 4wd at the track. This car has TONS of steering, very nimble, feels very light, and it's very durable. It does exactly what i tell it to do! Although setup does seem complex, it's very easy to work on. Big bore shocks are a huge plus! Belt drive is very quiet and bullet proof. I love the fact you don't need screws to bold the motor on. Besides performance and durability, it's a beauty and a head turner. People love the way the belt design look. Schu put a lot of thinking into this work of art. If you are thinking for a 4wd buggy, stop right here! Don't let the uncommon fool you!

Schumacher CAT SX2-Pro CF 1/10 4WD Off Road Buggy Kit
I came from the nitro and electric on-road scene, so I'm used to all of the fancy carbon fiber and aluminum. I chose this car because it is based on Schumacher's MI-4 on-road masterpiece. Although I haven't had any other buggies before this, I love it! It's very easy to drive and setup. If built as instructed by the manual, the factory setup seems perfect for me at Norcal Hobbies. It's also cool to see the envy on everyone's faces when the body is off and all of the carbon fiber and aluminum is on display. This car is a work of art. Only thing that comes close is the Durango DEX410 for 2X the price.

Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the stock plastic rear uprights are crap! I broke one every time I was on the track, 3 out of 3 times. I gave the car to the local hot shot to try and he broke a rear universal. I replaced the plastic with aluminum uprights and have had no problems since. If you order this car, get the rear aluminum uprights, and some extra F&R universals.

Also, I have the SX1 Pro CF version, not the SX2 with the big bore shocks. The SX1 Pro CF comes with all of the fancy aluminum parts such as the steering rack, eccentric diff mount, suspension pieces, etc, that are options on the SX2.
