Fully assembled and sharing many of the same components as the RC10B4 Team kit, the brushless RC10B4.1 RTR incorporates upgraded features like a totally new 2.4GHz 3-Channel radio system and SHV1504 MG metal gear steering servo. A Reedy 3300kV brushless motor supplies the power, while the XP SC450-BL electronic speed control with LiPo cutoff provides smooth throttle control. A sealed gear differential improves reliability and allows fine tuning for different surface conditions

Overall great little buggy. Radio is not built very well, after the third use the steering wheel broke off. I super glued it on rather than send it back to AE and it has worked flawlessly since. This thing is very fast and runs for about 18 mins on 3000mah packs. Pretty tough as well after a high speed jump it hit a tree and nothing happened. You will need a set of tougher tires if you run it on hard surfaces though, after 10 runs the stock rear tires are now slicks. I purchased some dirt hawgs for it and now it runs great. Pretty good deal for $225 if you ask me, would purchase again.

Update AE sent me a complete radio and reciever new in box not a rebuilt one and I put a 2s 5000mah 30c protech lipo pack to test the rest of the car before I wrapped it for my son and this thing does backflips almost didnt wrap it for christmas LOL. Nice job AE your customer service goes further than than anything!!! If you cant stand by your product who cares about your quality!!!

Team Associated B4.1 is one awesome buggy for its size its got some get and go. I took it to my local R/C track ( outback Raceway ) this little buggy is fast and handles very well. it glades threw the air goes over jumps realy really well. I was very impressed

Just buy the factory kit if you are planning on taking this thing near a track. Things I changed on mine was the servo and wheels/tires. I also put a hotter motor/esc in it. The motor it comes with flat out blows along with the ESC. The servo is terrible with a speed of .22 to .25 lock to lock transit. Tires were also terrible. They wore out quickly too.
If you change these items it handles great. The A arms break often but associated is supported by RPM so upgrade after breakages. The transmitter is ok, it takes 8 double A's and it takes them down quick. I would say you get about 20-25 hours before the thing gets hungry again. It's the most power hungry transmitter I have ever had. It sucks for bashing in rough terrain but if you want to race it and do on road speed runs a B4 buggy may be for you. Just don't get the RTR.

Love it, lightning fast, tough, handles everything I could throw at it and running on 5000mah LiPo seems to go forever. If you want to get into RC cars you can't go past this baby
