 This is the Team Losi Racing TEN-SCTE 2.0 Competition 4WD Short Course Kit. The standard SCTE is one of the most successful vehicles in the 4WD Short Course Truck class, with performance on the track that is nothing short of incredible. So TLR listened to racer feedback as well as input from factory drivers, and developed the TEN-SCTE 2.0. The SCTE 2.0 is an all out, no holds barred pro level kit that includes everything needed to build a competition ready chassis. But this kit includes more than just option parts!
Starting with a CNC machined, 3mm thick hard anodized 7075 aluminum chassis, TLR engineers relocated the motor and center differential placement 36mm farther back, providing improved traction and increased corner speed. Plus, this chassis was purpose built for the 2.0, eliminating the plastic center diff riser, helping to keep the weight bias lower for more consistent handling. The battery tray has been redesigned to reduce weight and increase adjustablility, using foam pads mounted to the chassis and adjustable battery hold down posts that allow the position of the battery to be shifted forward or back depending on preference.
TLR then added hard anodized threaded shock bodies with Ti-Nitride shock shafts and bleeder shock caps for a shock package that when combined with a full set of Ti-Nitride coated hinge pins provides smooth suspension action that will soak up the bumps and jumps with authority. CNC machined adjustable suspension pivot blocks add another level of tuning possibilities, while the torque rod rear chassis brace and aluminum front chassis provide just the right amount of flex. HD differential housings with re-engineered seals, Hi-performance body, carbon fiber shock towers with additional shock mount positions, 4mm tie rods with captured ends and 12mm clamping wheel hexes round out this incredible competition ready package, and provide 4WD short course racers with a truck worthy of the TLR name.
