Modeled after the full-scale counterpart, the 1/10 Slider RTR features detailed components including a four-piece Lexan body with molded chrome headers, realistic and protective roll cage, simple mount front wing and functional rear wing for track tuning options as well as scale beadlock-style wheels and multi-surface, scale dirt oval style tires.

The 1/10 Slider is built on a platform designed for durability and stability for multiple conditions and surfaces. When it comes to powering the included Losi 12T Electronic Speed Control (ESC) with reverse and the Losi LM-32K motor, the chassis allows three options. The 1/10 Slider will accommodate a 6-cell NiMH battery pack, a 2-cell LiPo battery pack, or a 3-cell LiPo battery pack (2 and 3-cell LiPo requires optional electronics).

The adjustable slipper clutch and gear differential in the 1/10 Slider deliver plenty of power to the ground. All four wheels are suited with race-length aluminum adjustable coil-over, oil-filled shocks for improved handling no matter what type of driving the 1/10 Slider will encounter.

A pistol-grip radio system with Spektrum™ 2.4GHz DSM® technology for interference free control and unmatched performance is included with the 1/10 Slider. Losi has also included a set of four AA batteries for the transmitter to get you up and running in no time. All that is needed to complete this awesome ready to run package is a vehicle battery and charger.

Losi 1/10 Slider RTR
I got this bad boy a few days ago and was like a little kid at x-mas opening the box. It looked so cool i almost could not disturb it being attached to the inner box, but after about 10 mins staring at it it was out. The first thing i noticed was how well the body was crafted and detailed. The decals were heated to shrink them to fit all the contours and details on the body, very well done. The tires are soft, sticky and extremely scale looking. The hedders are made of metal and overall the whole body looks very scale. I did what i do with any rc i get regardless if its rtr or not and thats to completely dissassemble it and rebuild it. Thats when i was equally impressed and unimpressed. Losi still uses standard hardware and some hack that did not care about the customer actually buying the car stripped every screw head during assembly, all of them! It was so difficult getting a couple dozen stripped screws out and finding screws to replace them. Now i have a screwless nitro tc3. And then while reassembling it the mount that the front wing attatched to snapped were the to screw holes are, considering i use team losi titanium coated hex wrenches and very carefully measured the new unstripped screws it was not my error that broke it just a weak or wrong material they used to cast it. The only advice i would have is to put a healthy ammount of grease in the tranny and diff to lube it and to quiet it down, otherwise its loud and i didnot find any grease on the main gears. I also race a losi 8, 8-t and l8ight model and never had any issues with them so i believe the slider i got was just a fluke. Overall the slider is an awsome machine, its pretty quick and handles well. Tighten the servo saver, grease the tranny and cut the fake air inlet one the upper body out, it looks cool but more importantly it will help cool the speed control. Have patience getting toe upper body off because the first couple time you will think its impossible to get it off but once you learn the technique it will get easier every time.
