HPI Blitz "Maxxis" 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck w/FREE Battery & Charge
This truck out of the box is just awesome one look and you that this truck is built to last took it to some snow and puddles and this thing is like a beast ripping through the water, snow, sand, anything but my esc burned out (my falt) but sent it back to Hpi racing customer service and they replaced it for free ( comes with a 2 yr warranty) they rock but this time it wraped the ends on the battery with electrical tape, cracks where the top and the bottom meet on the receiver and wraped the esc's expossed areas with electrical tape and now nothing is going to stop this. Tires are looking great and perform great only thing is that they smell like real car tires. Ive drove this thing head on into the garage at full speed and only a tiny scrach on the bumper. Now on to negatives, the shocks on the front are alitte soft to get the most out of my jumps but with all the ajustiblity on the A-arms and shock towers i was abill to get it a bit stifer for suit my taste. Next up the inline steering that is included, I tried to hook it up but it decreased the performance in the bearings, but with the pre-installed steering you should get better stiblity. Next tricks, my basement has no carpet which now comes is handy becuase if i postion the battery all the way back i could do endless dounuts WITHOUT wearing out my tires. The speed for racing is just perfect with a 2s lipo you can problay get about 25-30mph depends on where you are in the run and thats faster that traxxas slash original, one can win a race with the truck in stock class. The remote is fine no real need to change for bashing and occasstional racing. Many other teams like rpm, integry, stnc offer alunumin upgrades to make your car bullet proof. Over all no need to think twice just think once and get this is a must

HPI Blitz "Maxxis" 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck w/FREE Battery & Charge
By far the best 2x4 short course truck out there. Yea its got a weak steering servo... who cares, easy fix. The truck has more forward bite than it knows what to do with. It is extremely durable. I have never broken a suspension arm or part yet. The tranny is smooth and the diff has great response. The stock electrics are weak at best... but who keeps them? I liked mine so much, I bought a Blitz for my GF who loves it. It is her first RC and it really is a lot of fun knowing she isnt going to break anything and be able to control it well. I use Turnigy 2s lipo in mine and it fit great... only had to cut a slight bit of the battery tray away to allow the side exit wires. The tires are really good as well compared to other brand stock tires. Ive owned all the 2x4 short course trucks and must say the Blitz is the best. And at the price??? its a no brainer. The SC10 is fun but its twitchy and breaks easier so it may not be best for beginners. The Slash is great and started the short course revolution.... but it doesnt have much to offer in actual races now days up against sc10s and Blitzs.

HPI Blitz "Maxxis" 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck w/FREE Battery & Charge
This is a great truck. It's perfect for the beginner or the seasoned racer. It's extremely durable. The plastic parts are fairly "soft" and therefore very hard to break. I have raced this truck extensively and have never broken a thing, other than stripping a couple of spur gears (which were my own fault). For the beginner, the truck needs very few changes out of the box. The steering is a bit suspect so I would recommend tightening the servo saver a bit to improve it. The tires are adequate for most surfaces. For the racer, you will have to make more changes. You would probably be better off getting the Blitze ESE though. The stock electronics are not suitable for any serious racing. The esc is non adjustable with no reverse lock out. To get better steering you must tighten the servo nut down nearly all the way. You will need a speedy servo and better ESC. I would also recommend getting an aluminum steering rack to take out some of the slop. The tires are suspect on loose dirt and would recommend an upgrade there. With those changes alone you will have a very competent racer. It handles great and gives you plenty of traction. Great all around Short Course Truck.

HPI Blitz "Maxxis" 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck w/FREE Battery & Charge
Love the blitz, didnt use any of the electronics, great racer, great setup, great overall design. only problems i have had is that i have popped a couple ball cups, i had a screw holding the bottom of the rear shock pop out one race and the steering seemed a little stiff so i switched to alum steering bell cranks and a stronger servo it runs like a champ. stock tires arent the greatest when useing a BL motor on a dirt track. overall good truck.

Great truck, just wish it had a reverse delay or lockout and lipo cut-off. This truck is dialed right out of the box.

HPI Blitz "Maxxis" 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck w/FREE Battery & Charge
I got mine last friday and it's a very nice truck. The truck is light but it handles great. It's very evident when you take it out of the box that it's going to be a tough ride. Everything looks very durable and heavy duty. And since it's derived from the e firestorm which is "loosely" based off the t4 you know it's going to handle well on the track.

I give hpi a big thumbs up.

this truck is amazing... ive had it for about half a year now and ive ran it with 2 brushless setups and it performed amazingly with both... i drive this truck alot im a basher due to no tracks local and i must say the day i lost control of it and it took of down the street i though i was lookin at a pretty big chunk o money to repair..it put 4 cracks on each side of the chasis right infront of the servo... fixed it that same day.. awsome truck and incredibly durable

i have a couple videos of it on youtube visit my channel mambabear
