This is the Losi Mini 8IGHT 1/14 Scale 4WD Ready-to-Run Electric Buggy. Based upon the ROAR Championship-winning 8IGHT™ buggy, this brushless-powered prodigy is the ultimate mini buggy. Its 1/14-scale size and 4WD drivetrain allows it to handle tougher terrain while mastering the outrageous power and speed from the brushless system.   • 4500KV Brushless Motor: Designed to give you plenty of power for the 4WD transmission, the Mini 8IGHT motor requires little to no maintenance and provides a whole lot of fast-paced action.
  • Losi Brushless ESC: This brushless ESC features auto-cell detection, built in cutoff, and is compatible with NiMH and 2S to 3S LiPo.
  • Spektrum SR300 Receiver with 2.4GHz DSM Technology: Genuine Spektrum DSM technology will ensure an interference-free experience whether you run with five other Mini 8IGHT vehicles, or fifteen.
  • Aluminum, Adjustable, Oil-filled, Coil-over Shocks: Threaded-aluminum, oil-filled, coil-over shocks offer durability, dependability and are designed to ensure the desired suspension performance. Threaded bodies and collars allow for easy adjustments and fine tuning
  • Mini Kingpin Treaded Tires: Scaled-down from the race-proven 1/10- and 1/8-scale Kingpin tread design, these mini tires will provide ample traction on multiple surface types.
  • 7.2V 1100mAh NiMH Battery Pack with EC2 Connectors: The Mini 8IGHT RTR includes a powerful, rechargeable NiMH battery pack and wall charger, making it easy to get started.
  • DSM Transmitter: DSM technology offers multiple benefits over traditional systems: No interference, glitching, worrying about finding an open frequency, changing crystals or losing control. Losi DSM transmitters only require 4 AA batteries, making them lighter in weight and less expensive to maintain. A short fold-over antenna makes travel and storage convenient.

You are going to LOVE IT!!! This thing runs with the best of them out at the track and I know some of the parts like the shock caps get a bad rap but mine has taken all kinds of hits and still runs great. I just threw on a t-bone racing front and rear bumper, lipo battery, few other upgrades and let it go...You will not be disappointed. Guaranteed.

Amazing Little Buggy. Build Quality is first rate. Would expect nothing less from losi. Runs great out of the box but with a lipo battery the buggy really comes to life. Won't be disappointed with purchase.

I have it,i must say it a moster,the only hop up I maid was the servo. I put a HITEC hs-225mg.and it move so smooth.HITEC IS OK BUT, AM A( KO PROPO)GUY,I have 2 ko propo in myKYOSHO MP9 TKI3.

Best mini out there. I have the savage xs and mini e revo and they lasted less than five runs without breaking. The mini 8ight has ran 20 packs and nothing has broke. the only upgrade i would recomend for durability is a driven productions spur gear guard. everything that throws up dust goes to the spur. the lipo would be the best for performance and racing. the stock pack is great and lasts 15-20 minutes. the best thing is it weights a little bit more than 2 pounds with a nimh. this doesn't make it break that much as the savage xs. losi is probably the best company out there. i have had the micro highroller for a year and i have broken 3 parts and they were just over 3 dollars. if you want this to be a race buggy it is great but get a fan for the esc. this is my favorite basher and racer. if you get this you will not be dissapointed.

I purchased two, one for me and one for my 14 year old son. What blast. With a 3C lipo battery pack the mini8 can pull wheelies in mid flight. Very durable buggy overall. My local track doesn't have a class yet!

The Mini 8ight is a blast to drive and is really fast out of the box with a 2s lipo. Its very durable and takes jumps like pro. The only parts I broke were axles. Since I've upgraded to cads theres been no issue. The factory shock towers can bend as well but only after some serious abuse. This thing can handle some grass also even being this small. I would buy it again.

est Value out there right now, this mini will hang with 1/8 scales on 4s all day long and can jump anything the bigger cars can on a track. I would recommend adding thread lock to the center out drives out of the box, they will loosen up and leave you in 2wd. I recommend the mini 8ight to all of my friends a great way to get into RC and not spend a ton of cash. Almost completely race ready out of the box.

Great car. Mine had radio issues out of the box. Tx and Rx would not bind. This was caused by the included transmitter batteries which were dead on arrival. Once I figured this out all has worked well ever since. Just keep putting fresh alkaline batteries in the Tx and you will be rockin'.

Also, the easy fix for the shock absorber caps is to get some small metal washers, slightly bigger than the plastic loops on the shock caps. Remove the nut, install the washer next to the cap loop, replace the nut. This will help support and protect the shock caps. When the car flips upside down it will scrape on the washer instead of the plastic loop.

This thing is awesome. That is all i need to say. Hop up parts are cheap and there is lots to choose from. Have fun. Running on 3s will strip the spur gear quickly but it really flies.

This little speed monster is a gem.
Loves to fly and almost always lands on its feet proper. One of the best buggies out there and it is great fun to drive. You will never go wrong with the mini 8ight!

This is my first RC car and I am 30 years old!!

I have always dreamed of owning one and decided this should be a good first.
Wow did I make a good decision in purchasing one of these awesome little cars.
It has taken such a thrashing and is still going strong, although I recently had to replace
some lost and broken parts due to some insane jumps!
I have also changed a few bits, like putting on a set of chrome spoked street wheels,
a carbon fibre upper deck as well as my own bubble decal designs.

The only thing that saddened me a little was the shabby Spektrum transmitter.

Otherwise a beautiful piece of machine if I may say and worth every penny.

Not a huge fan of this little buggy. You will enjoy owning it for a while because the handling is great and the wheels/tires are great, and also it's fast.
My shock caps broke quite easily along with the body and front end suspension parts. ESC cogged at part throttle the whole time I had it. It didn't have enough suspension compliance to get around my local track because it's quite bumpy and finally it has an exposed pinion/spur so I went through a lot of pinions and spurs in a short time and it's a pain to get to these parts. I was relieved when I sold it.
