This is a set of two JConcepts Double Cross 1/8 Buggy Tires, in Yellow compound. Drivers beware - there is an all new multi-purpose 1/8th buggy tire in town. The Double Cross by JConcepts has it all, brutally large slotted lugs for maximum tread life while incorporating half height Double Cross and Double Dee lug and pins. Maximum control, stability and longevity were the areas of focus during the testing and development of the Double Cross. The Double Cross is just not another copy cat design; the Double Cross is JConcepts original.
The totally unique design combined with sticky compounds like yellow and blue allow even greater control on grooved, wet and loamy conditions. The Double Cross is another JConcepts special breed, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body. Once the driver wears through the initial lug, a bar and pin follows to maximize potential on aggressive surfaces.

Ryan Maifield had this to say – “At the ROAR Nationals, the A-main events are 60 minutes in length and without hesitation I reached for the Double Cross in Yellow compound for the A-main. While battling for the lead I noticed how the Double Cross was an advantage in forward traction over the competition in the tricky downhill section of the track. While my competitors got loose and lost control in the bumpy downhill run, I was able to track straight and maintain my line heading straight into the step up jump. The Double Cross has the performance of a mid tread tire but the life of a tire much larger in stature. Double Cross is the ticket when the other tires run bald”.
