Dynamite 12mm Hex Speed Treads Konekt Pre-Mounted Tire Set (2) (Slash Rear)
Very good tires for the cost. I use them on my 2wd slash on an outdoor river clay/dirt track and they hook up in all but dry dusty conditions. good forward bite and cornering when the track is moist or slightly wet. If you are in muddy, sandy or lots of loose dirt then you may want deeper lugs. The compound feels a bit on the hard side and the foams are kind of soft giving the tire a flat profile. I imagine a softer tire would be needed on real hard dry surfaces. The tires have a good tread life, however the foams decompose faster than the tread especially if they stay wet. All in all they are a good bargian!

Dynamite 12mm Hex Speed Treads Konekt Pre-Mounted Tire Set (2) (Slash Rear)
I grabbed these on the way to the track this weekend at my LHS. Track is clay, covered outdoor so you can run all-year. The Clay is VERY MOIST because of the quantum amounts of rain we've been experiencing. I ran these on the back of my Blitz ESE running a Castle 3800 SCT system. The truck is relatively light and the traction was insane... the tires brought it to the next level. I could easily run with the 4wds, and often had TOO MUCH traction and my truck was wheeling down the front straight. Overall, for the money, blows my stock Trepador's (the ese did not come with wheels/tires but I have them on the RTR blitz) out of the water. I wish the foam was a little stiffer as the truck had a tendency to traction roll, which meant I had to let off a bit for the corners. I paired these with the Triple Threat that I ran on the front, and those were insanely grabby as well.

For the Money, I honestly have to give them a 5 out of 5. Sure, an AKA Set-up with stiffer foam and softer rubber might give me better stability, but $ for $ these are pretty solid.

Dynamite 12mm Hex Speed Treads Konekt Pre-Mounted Tire Set (2) (Slash Rear)
Quite a good amount of grip, fairly quick wearing so may not be the best choice for bashers on harder surfaces, but good in loam and soft loose terrain.
Mine are probably 50-75% through tread depth, and are WAY out of balance, so bad I can see the buggy bouncing while driving. But they did cope with a fair amount of use before going bad.

Dynamite 12mm Hex Speed Treads Konekt Pre-Mounted Tire Set (2) (Slash Rear)
Bought these just to try out. Tire compound is not very sticky but is on the medium side. Foam inserts is on the soft side.
I used these on the rear of my blitz on a astroturf track and they proved to be better then good but just short of great.

I believe Astroturf is probably where these wheels shine as the softness in the track works in favor of the foam inserts and the medium compound with the thread pattern bites well into the surface without too much wear. I only managed 3/4 of a pack on these before i broke a drive shaft on the car so i can't say how fast they do actually wear in real life situation.

For the price of these pre-mounts i would definitely recommend these to someone on a budget that runs on astroturf track. I have yet to try these on hardpack with a loose layer (will be my next test).
