This is a set of the new optional captured rear outer lower suspension shafts for the Mugen MBX5, X5T, X6 and X6T 1/8 vehicles. These shafts replace the stock parts, however they have a bolt head on one end and a nut on the other end. Using these will eliminate the possibility of losing an E-clip during a race, causing the outer pins to work loose in your buggy. When using these shafts, tighten them all the way and then back off the nut until you can move the shaft relatively freely with your alan wrench. You do not want to tighten these up all the way or it will cause the suspension to bind. If you are racing your buggy regularly, you should consider using this part.
