This is a optional Serpent Aluminum RCC Shock Spring Cup Set, and is intended for use with the Serpent 720, and 733 1/10 vehicles, as well as 960, and 966 1/8 vehicles. These spring cups are made from lightweight and strong aluminum and have been lightened through the addition of holes in each piece. Offering extra strength when using harder springs, the use of this new material prevents the shock ball-end from being pushed through the support in the event of an impact.
