 This is a optional ManuTech Racing Lipo Plate, and is intended for use with the XRAY T2 007, 008 and 009's. CNC machined brass plate that fits under the lipo battery. Weight varies some from part to part, but average is approx 110 grams. If less weight is required, simply enlarge the pre-drilled holes. This plate is offset at an angle near the back eliminating the need for chassis modifications and to help account for the difference in balance with brushless motor setups.
This lipo tray was designed and tested on the following lipo batteries:
- SMC4000/5000
- Trinity
- Orion 4800
- Pro-Match
- ThunderPower 5000
- Reedy

- Overall size: 5.275 inches x 1.954 inches x .250 inches thick (total thickness)
- Size of Battery Slot Tabs: 0.460 inches x 0.060 inched deep
- Spacing of Battery Slot Tabs: 0.915 inches
- Max Width for Lipo Battery being used: 1.850 inches
- Max Length for Lipo Battery being used: none
- Max Height for Lipo Battery being used: Tray adds 0.050 inches
Comments from ManuTech:
- tray is centered on frame cutouts, and should still allow the use of the tape slots
- for the best fit, the tabs are machined to the same size as the slots in the chassis, due to variations in manufacturing (of the chassis and/or battery tray), it may be necessary enlarged the cutouts in the chassis slightly with small grinder
- this tray will also work on the t2 007 chassis, with very minor grinding of the upper deck
