This is a set of two AKA Racing Pre-Mounted Enduro Short Course
Tires, in soft compound. These tires have been pre-mounted on black AKA
Cyclone wheels that are intended for use on the rear of the Traxxas Slash, as well as the front and rear of the OFNA/Jammin 4WD SC's, HPI Blitz, Traxxas Slash 4x4, and Kyosho Ultima SC and DB. The AKA Enduro tread pattern is a great all-around tire for just
about any surface condition. With a set of Enduro's in your box you
won’t need to worry about having the right tire!
The Enduro
tires have been designed specifically for 1/10 short course trucks as an
all purpose tire. Gil Losi Jr. and Mark Pavidis designed these tires
with a 2.2”/3” bead design and an inner carcass made to fit the industry
standard AKA closed cell foams perfectly! The Enduro was designed with
larger lugs that have been cut in various angles to provide you with
great tread life but also give the lugs enough flex to give you the bite
you need on a variety of different track conditions. The result is a
much more controlled outer sidewall for more consistent handling and
tread wear. No longer will you need to add tons of camber to keep the
contact patch flat on the ground.
AKA is offering these tires
pre-mounted on Cyclone SC wheels because AKA tires work best on flatter
style wheels vs. the cone type wheels that leave the tire unsupported.
The Cyclone SC has been designed specifically for 1/10 short course
trucks and will fit all standard 2.2" x 3" short course tires. All
wheels are made from the same proprietary nylon blend as the the AKA 1/8
scale wheels for consistent, bomb proof performance.
Assembly Quality: AKA Pre-Mounts are all hand assembled using
AKA Premium tire glue and are double checked for adhesion quality.
