This is a set of four AKA Racing SureGrip 17mm Wheel Nuts, and are intended for use with all 1/8 scale buggies and trucks that use standard 17mm hubs. These SureGrip wheel nuts are made from tough 7075 Aluminum and are hard anodized to add extra durability. The hard anodizing will help to keep the threads in the nuts from galling to the hub even after months of use. The rear face of the SureGrip features a heavy knurling that grabs the plastic on the wheel to prevent any loosening during use. These are truly a “set it and forget it” accessory. Once these lock to the wheel, they will not come loose.

AKA SureGrip 17mm Wheel Nut (4)
Listing says they are for standard 17mm hubs. AKA's website says the same. These do not fit on my Losi 8 buggy which is what I got them for. They did fit on my older Mugen MBX5 though. So at least I can use them. Just was a bit disappointed. They also seem to have some pretty bad burs on the start of the threads on either side. I had to use a reamer and clean up the edges a bit.

UPDATE: AKA sent me some replacements that fit just fine. Happy with the product and AKA's customer support.

These are great. Be careful not to overtighten or you will have a really hard time getting them off.

AKA SureGrip 17mm Wheel Nut (4)
The listing says these are for a slash and the AKA site says they are for any 1/8th scale 17mm hub. Unfortunately they don't fit either. I tried these on a revo, tmaxx, and a ofna buggy and they would not screw onto the hubs of any of these kits. It seems like the threads are the wrong pitch or something. Chunked em in the trash after messing with them for 30 minutes trying to get them to work.
