These are a great idea. They are tough and light, but require constant maintenance or they'll seize up. You really can't tell that much when they stop working as good as they should, because the shock and arms move similarly. The only downside is when the shaft doesn't compress like it should, it'll end up blowing out your inner and eventually outer bearings. This is exactly what happened to me. and I've cleaned these things out many times.

why wont traxxas make there own cvd's like the revo ones ! these plastic things just break get mip or intergy driveshafts
