This is a optional CEFX Bulkhead Gearbox Brace, and is intended for use with the Shepherd Velox 1/8 on road car. This brace mounts on top of the rear sway bar mounts. Just install the original plastic hold downs over the graphite. This brace includes two small pieces of plastic tubing that are used under the set-screws so there's plastic pushing on the roll bar, rather than the set screw. This allows for less play/wear to the roll bar and provides better/more consistent handling.
