This is an optional ST Racing Concepts Machined Aluminum HD Steering Bellcrank, and is intended for use with the Jammin SCRT10 short course truck. Greatly improve the durability and add precision to the steering system of your Jammin SCRT10 with CNC Machined Aluminum bellcranks set.

NOTE:  When assembling and restalling your new STRC Aluminum Bellcrank set:
  • 1) be sure to back out the servo saver spring collar by one full turn to give the bell crank a bit more "give" in an event of a crash or bad landing
  • 2) upgrade to ball bearings in the steering to take out any further potential flex in the bell crank system

ST Racing Concepts Aluminum HD Steering Bellcrank
Do not buy this assembly. It has a serious design flaw. When first sold, people were breaking the top horn. The top servo connector was redesigned thicker, but this was not the problem. The ramps on the saver are too steep for metal on metal contact and do not give smooth, sliding action. I backed off my saver all the way, even cut off some of the spring, and still blew out my servo because of the lack of give. Using the original plastic top assembly makes everything smooth. But this is a poor substitute. BTW, I didn't get the updated saver top with my kit. Guess they were clearing out stock because they included two. Thanks STRC!

I had the same problem as another one of the reviewers- the top part of the servo saver doesn't rotate correctly when there is an impact causing your servo gears to take the hit. Smoked the gears on 3 Spektrum s6040 servos before i found out what the problem was-wow! Anyway I put the top stock piece on and it seems to work smoothly-I'm gonna call strc and give them a piece of my mind! lol

Worked fairly well for a long time, and then the same piece that the other reviewers had issues with failed... back to the stock piece for now...

I just use a good strong servo & set my EPA but the anodizing sucks.

Alot better than the stock plastic bellcrank...I replaced bushings with bearings and I use a Kimbrough Large servo saver or else you will chew through servos as mentioned in the other reviews!
