This is an optional 48T center spur gear for Kyosho buggies, and fits the Inferno MP7.5 and Inferno MP777 family of buggies. This is the spur gear that attaches to the center differential and provides power from the engine clutch bell and transfers it to the center drive train. This optional version is slightly bigger than the 46T one that comes stock in the kit, and can provide better acceleration off the line for tight tracks. Note that to use this spur gear you must shim the center diff mount up using the provided shims to avoid having the spur gear teeth protrude through the bottom of the buggy chassis.
