This is an optional HPI 32 Tooth - 60 Tooth Idler Gear, and is intended for use with the HPI Savage XS. This idler gear will lower the gear ratio of your XS for better acceleration and improved performance in 3S applications. 24, 26, 28 and 30 tooth 48 Pitch pinion gears can be used, but 24 tooth is recommended by HPI for optimal 3S performance.
