With a larger shock body, wider pistons and more oil, the Hot Bodies Big Bores have vastly improved damping characteristics over standard-size buggy shocks, and the all-new design makes them easier to work on with long times between rebuilds.
The shock bodies are threaded for quick changes to the ride height using a knurled adjustment nut, and the upper shock bladder helps keep the oil clean and rebound levels consistent. An o-ring sealed, threaded bottom cap secures the bottom of the shock from mud and dust, and dual silicone o-rings with a super-soft rubber boot help too. The shock shaft uses a locknut to keep the 6-hole shock piston in place. A full set of shock pistons with 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5mm holes is included, plus mounting hardware to bolt these puppies right onto any Lightning or other 1/8th rallycross buggy!
