Team Losi Racing Differential Through Screw & Nut Set (TLR 22)
I cannot recommend this diff screw. The one which came with my 22 kit broke during assembly. A second one broke from a diff rebuild kit that I had on hand. So, I used the associated diff screw and had no more problems.

This screw is terrible.... Broke my fist one during assembly and just broke my second one tonight while tightning up my dif after it loosened up on the track. What is this thing made of glass? Come on Losi, you can do better than this.

The nut keeps loosening up during races. This is the 2nd diff screw to to this. Looking for a better option....

JUNK!!! I am very disappointed with the quality of Losi products. I just went to my LHS and purchased my 3rd Through Screw tonight. The first one that came in my kit held up until after I broke the diff in. Of course they will loosen during break in then you retighten and continue break in. When it is thoroughly broke in, then you set it and away you go. Well, broke the diff in and when I went to set it the screw snapped. So I went and bought another one from the lhs where I was at. Had the diff out of the vehicle/trans housing and was tightening the screw to prevent slipping of the diff (checking it every 1/4 turn) and SNAP! Screw #2 and $5 down the drain. So went and ordered yet another one along with the gear differential. Picked them up tonight and going to see if it does it again. I would like to actually run my truck! Have yet to run it due to this cheap, brittle piece of junk Losi is making. I am so disappointed in Losi products now. I am ready to switch back to Associated! Save your money and buy another brand or get the gear diff I suppose. But after reading the reviews on that leaking all the time I hope I didn't just throw another $30 down the drain. It makes me wonder what happened to this brand. I have a XX-T with the original diff/through screw that has never been rebuilt and it still works flawless. I wonder if Horizon's take over of Losi has something to do with it. Cheap a$$ junk for a premium price.

Broke the screw putting mine together. Got the AE screw & nut set and it worked great. While trying to tighten my son's diff tonight, I broke the stock TLR screw (again). So back to the LHS tomorrow for another AE screw to replace the TLR junk!

This is the same diff screw and nut that comes in your kit. The screw will snap at the nut. The same place the one that came in the kit did. This assembly is setting you up for failure. Purchase the MIP screw and nut set, you will save yourself some money in the long run. Sorry losi.

This bolt broke on my first assembly they come with a lock nut, which gives the impression that the bolt is supposed to protrude through the plastic locker the instructions are incorrect the plastic locker is good enough. use cation and do not over tighten just snug the bolt for proper fit and movement on the bearings. they are a bit cheap in comparison to the other components on this toy.
