 This is a replacement Serpent True Motion Centax Clutch Kit, and is intended for use with the Serpent 747 1/10 Scale Nitro Touring Car. This clutch kit can also be an optional upgrade for the Serpent 733.
Serpent invented the Centax clutch in the mid ‘90’s and all brands followed it. Small improvements are found to make the original system even better. The True Motion Centax has a flat flywheel, and the taper part on the pressure plate. This allows the flyweights to work even better. The hard anodized aluminum flywheel has four holes for easy access keeping the flywheel in position when setting the pre-tension. The flyweights are made of top quality Teflon and feature an additional hole to use grub screws to make them heavier. The hard anodized gears screw on to the threaded steel bell. The red friction clutch shoes are very grippy, and work excellent with the steel clutch housing. Black and yellow shoes can also be used, as well as the aluminum or light steel clutch housing.
