This is the M2C Racing Quick Change Variable Weight 3-Shoe Clutch Starter System. Are you ready for a next generation flywheel? The M2C Quick Change system can be modified to alter the weight of the flywheel by simply adding or removing the included 4x6mm set screws, making it one of the most tunable clutch systems ever developed. This clutch was designed to fit all 1/8 scale vehicles and can be adjusted from 16.5 grams with no weight, up to 21.5 grams fully loaded with shoes installed. The design allows you to load the shoes and springs on the flywheel with the flywheel on or off of the engine, and the flywheel can be removed from the engine without removing the shoes, by simply removing the 8mm clutch nut.

The formula is simple, the looser the track, the more weight you add. This will help to reduce wheel spin and make the car easier to drive, especially with engines that produce lots of bottom end power.
