The ExTech "II" .24 engine will give Truggy Racers that extra power they desire, that a .21 size engines can't offer . In the past the .28 size engines were the only option to get this extra power. And with fuel efficiency being a big part of the pit strategy at today's events the .28 size engines are rarely seen at full competition racing. That's where the ExTech "II" .24 engine stands out. Not only is the power equal to some .28 engines, but the ExTech "II" .24 will get the run time of a typical Race .21 size engine.

It's the design of the Extech "II" .24 that makes this engine the power house that it is. The square Bore and Stroke (17.17mm) and Long Rod (29.997mm) design gives the engine a better balance, which increases power and efficiency throughout the power curve. Not only does the .24 have the bottom-end power of a typical Race .28, but has the upper rpm power to keep pulling you down the longest straight you may encounter.

Until now most .28's or .25's size engines have used the .21 size engine stroke with a punched out bore. And typically use the short rod (29.48mm) of the 21 engine. That's not the case on the ExTech "II" .24 Truggy Engine. The Bore / Stroke have been increased and squared to give better performance throughout the entire power curve. Offering the best power and fuel efficiency from any race engine out there!

All engines will be broken in, carb flow checked and dyno tuned. A dyno spec sheet will come with each motor.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
I run a Mugen mbx6t and I put this engine in it... wow all the prower I ever needed. I ran it lightly for the first 300 cc just to finish breaking it in and love the power and the fuel economany it has. I recommend changing the front end bearing to a better one or at least keep an eye on it incase it leaks causing tuning problems.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Love this engine!! I run it in my Losi 8-T 2.0 and the power is awesome. Great bottom end and great midrange and even good top end :) I use the BIG boy pipe. Runs perfect everytime, I have about 1.5 gallons on it and still using the glow plug I used to break in the motor.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Raced it today and the carb is junk imo - it was leaking like a sieve and would not hold a tune. Granted, I have never liked a picco or sirio carb, as I prefer Nova or OS carbs...I replaced it with a Nova carb and it ran like a top thereafter. I had to go up to a 14 CB, as the botom end was way too strong for the slick track I was on, and the top end was not real impressive (with dyn 86 pipe) with my stock 13 CB in the STRR. Once I got the carb tuned in, and the 14 CB, it did real well. Seemed to like to run around 215, and I had all the power I could want or ask for. At the current prices, I think it is a good deal (assuming you have an extra carb laying around to use)

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Over a 1.5 gallons through it and not impressed. The only positive thing about this engine I can say is that it starts easy and gets good run times. On the downside, it has horrible low-speed power. No bottom-end. I don't mean "punch" from a standstill hitting WFO. I mean driving at partial throttle settings where the low-end needle setting has affect. IMO, the O.S. V-spec is a much better all-around performer than this engine....

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
I have run 1 gallon of fuel through the engine and had nothing but tuning trouble with it. Lost 8 glow plugs because of metal contamination and finialy broke the rod. I do not recommend this engine. I am back to my Sportwerks that has 7 gallons of fuel ran through it.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
I also run this in my X2 with the BigBoy pipe and it rips. I am getting a solid 9 mins but could prob push it to 10. I am very impressed with this motor. It has plently of bottom end and gets up and goes too down the straights. I love that you don't need that much room to get up and go over short run up jumps. I currently am running with a 14 tooth and holding a temp from 200-207. Excellent motor. i reccommend getting it.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
great all around powere. I run it in my X2. Get the Trinity ExTech Big Boy 1/8th Off-Road Pipe Set.[TRI42102 -//- I got this motor last week and I am extremely impressed. I am get 9 to 10 minutes of race time from the pre run version. I have only 10 tanks through so I imagine the run time will improve to 10 minutes plus.

This motor is more than enough!

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Tuned" .24 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
I purchased the EB fully modded pre run .21 from A main. Raced her through 10 gallons of werks 30 percent and she tinked/blew on me last week. I also have been running a EB fully modded .24 pre run same fuel. Werks is the only way. 3 gallons through her and she is still ripping. 2013 ex tech pipe or JP-4. Run times like no other motor I have. 10 to 11 minutes consistantly. Both motors .21 and .24
