Losi 8IGHT/8IGHT-T 2.0 Universal Starter Box
This box is plenty powerful to start up the tightest of engines. Hell, I would put wheels on the box and race it! But I do have a complaint. My belt broke at only the second race i ever used it. I e-mailed Losi support, it has been 3 days now, and no response. Well now I will have at least 3 spares at all times.

Losi 8IGHT/8IGHT-T 2.0 Universal Starter Box
all in all a great box if you are running an 8ight buggy or truggy.

The only thing I don't understand is, that Losi equip this with a Tamiya style connector and use small gauge wire. When using a 4s LiPo you really want to recable the box and fit a Deans or similar high power plug.

Losi 8IGHT/8IGHT-T 2.0 Universal Starter Box
Good box, has good power but buy lots of spare belts. Losi will not warranty the belts at all. They say "its a ware item" but breaking after 3-4 times of starting my truggy! Come on....

Losi 8IGHT/8IGHT-T 2.0 Universal Starter Box
I have this thing, and sometimes I find it more of a hassle than a pull start, and I don't quite get it.. You pay $100+ for the starter and some decent batteries for one and that's really pricey to get up front. Secondly, you have to charge those batteries after about 4 uses because the motor drains them so quickly. Thirdly, pray to god you don't get fuel on your clutch or on that rubber wheel or it's not going to work without hosing the damn thing down with cleaner (The rubber wheel will just slip on the oil and won't turn a damn thing). The rubber wheel wears out pretty fast, and coats your engine and clutch-bell in rubbery black dirt that often melts onto the surface (exactly what I want on my motor while running in 98 degree weather). This is just one really complex part to take the pull-start off of the motor. For over a hundred dollars shouldn't I be able to have a system that takes less maintenance than the buggy? I have to take care of the nitro engine, and I don't have time to take care of a starter box as well. I have mixed opinions, I really hate dealing with pull-starts and starter boxes... Now it's just a matter of finding which one I hate least. e . e;
