This is the Fully Modded Trinity ExTech "II" .21 Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine. The new “ExTech Nitro” Sirio based engine line is built in Italy to the highest tolerances using all the latest nitro motor technology and high tech materials.

This high end Italian built engine from Trinity, is an completely new nitro engine line for serious 1/8th off-road racing, especially for the racer that demands the best.

From the new coating for the crank developed especially for Trinity to the “square”, shorter stroke design, ceramic rear bearing, smaller crank case volume which vastly decreases fuel consumption, to the new head button squish band. Trinity and Sirio have teamed up to provide the most power, smoothest power band and best fuel management on the track today.

Fully Modified Engines are blueprinted and hand assembled to guarantee precision parts fit, longest engine life and best possible performance. The exact same procedure as the Race Prepped engines except the following changes have been made to offer more usable rpm and power.
  • Connecting Rod is machined on Mill to be lightened, and then treated to strengthen and eliminate machining stresses.
  • Piston is lightened on Milling Machine while maintaining strength and integrity.
  • Crankshaft has undergone extensive R&D testing with different ratios of balance between the Crankshaft, Piston, and Rod assembly. All this testing has helped develop a lighter better-balanced crankshaft, while keeping proper crankshaft inertia for a smoother idle.
  • Port Timing has been adjusted to offer a more proportional feel across the bottom-end with a noticeable increase in the Mid and Upper rpm power. Usable rpm range is increase from 40,000rpm to 45,000rpm over stock.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Full Modded" .21 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
i have this motor w/ the j-4 pipe and its smokin!!!! i sealed the backplate and carb and it holds a tune forever. i love the power its very smooth with great low-mid and awsome top end!! it beats on the front stretch a grp,os v-spec,ws7,s7 u get the pic. Its well worth the money and about 9-10 min run times u cant beat it. I have 4 gal now and inside is super I think for the 2010 season i will put a new rod, wrist pin, and bearings the compression is still great. i hope to get 8-10 gal before full rebuild. I Enjoy racing w/ a great motor.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Full Modded" .21 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Trinity runs 4 tanks (500cc) which they consider pre-run. Typically you need to run 5-8 tanks depending on your break in routine. I just purchase the Werks TLB7.21 and ran 7 tanks through it prior to race tuning. If it were me I would atleats run 2 more tanks just to be on the safe side.

P.S. my werks engines are basically the same as the trinity (sirio based), which are excellent engines.

Since this motor say that it is pre-run. Does that mean that i do not have to break it in??

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Full Modded" .21 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Runs very smooth with the 2013 pipe, very good combo for tight tracks but why waste this motor for that, put the 2057 pipe on and find the largest track you can and go nuts!!! Plenty of power everywhere and if you can manage to control your throttle finger, pretty good run times, 8-9 minutes for me.

Trinity ExTech "II" Pre-Run "Full Modded" .21 Competition Truggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
This engine is bada**, pure and simple. Extremely quick on the throttle, loads of punch out of the turns and very high top speed. tunes easily and sofar i havent had any other engine stay with me on the straights. only recomendation i have is to take apart upon arrival and check for any shavings or particles inside, even though its hand-made, there have been a few known to have particles inside even out of the box. a 2013 pipe works great with it too.
