This is the Ninja JX21 B01 5 Port Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine from Mugen Seiki! This is a high performance 3.5cc Off-Road engine, using today's most advanced technology. The engine has been designed for maximum strength and highest specifications for serious and real racing. Fabricated from the finest materials available, it will insure less friction movement for higher speed and more economical fuel consumption.

The engine, OEM manufactured by O.S. Engines for Ninja, is loosely based on their V-Spec with some custom features: the crankcase is from the O.S. 28XZ engine and does not feature the distinctive O.S. 'black' coating, the sleeve port design is a bit different from the V-Spec, head design, the crankshaft has the same 'DLC' coating as the O.S. Speed V-spec but without counterweights. All in all a mix up of a few O.S. engines and Ninja branding.

Basically this engine is similar to a 5-port O.S. V-Spec engine!

Mugen Seiki Ninja JX21 B01 5-Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
This engine works awesome with the Team Associated Pipe!! One of the Best engines I have ever had. Super smooth power band starts up very easy and fast. You will need to take a little extra to break it in. Sleeve is very tight. Race tuned I temped at 201. Well worth it. I do with it sad O.S. on it But I know its made by them

Mugen Seiki Ninja JX21 B01 5-Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Best motor ever bought, plent of power from bottom to top, install a 7mm carb venturi and it will give you about 9 minutes easily. Holds a tune like no other and runs around 210-230 temps. Couldn't be happier and great price. I've run against Go's 7 port, P5, RB's and blow them away in the strait away.

Is the lightened cooling head version now in stock? How can we tell the older version apart from the newer one?

doing good so far....really like how smooth it is. also they suggest the ninja pipe or os 2060..well if you can try the RB 2045 on it do it, i was very surprised with the power delivery and output of this combo. reliability of this engine will determine if i get another.

Mugen Seiki Ninja JX21 B01 5-Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
Fantastic Engine!!! I have 2 races on mine in a new MBX6 buggy with a Dynamite 053 pipe. It has stupid top end power and lots of low end power. I am clearing jumps with ease and running down other buggies in the straights. Not only is it powerful, it idles great, and it gets great mileage. My practice run time on one tank was 11.5 minutes, and Im coming off of a 5 min qualifier with about half a tank left. Amazing.

Mugen Seiki Ninja JX21 B01 5-Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
i have tried many pipe with OS speed and JX21 engines, the OS 2060 is the most linear pipe for OS engines, the 2035 is very similar, but less linear...
the 2035 give more bottom, 9 min runtime and awesome rpm... and the price is very good :)

Mugen Seiki Ninja JX21 B01 5-Port Off-Road Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug)
I think i have about 6 or 7 gallons on mine at this point. I cant believe it. All i did was change the rod in it a few weeks ago. and the one i replaced still looked to be ok. Normally the stock v-spec would have been worn out 2 gallons ago. I'm positive this engine lasts a lot longer. Its still a better buy imo. -//- If you dont have enough cash flow to buy the SPEED v-spec, I recomend getting this one. You will not be dissapointed imo. -//- WOW, pretty much sums it up for this product. Another great product from Mugen.
