This is the Castle Creations Mamba Micro Pro 1/18th scale 6800 kV
brushless car package. Castle invented 1/18th scale brushless, and now
we are raising the bar.
Speed controls are only as good as their components. Castle uses only the latest and best. These aren’t always the least expensive. We can tell the difference and we are sure you will too.

Why stop there?
When you design and build your own products, you don’t have to settle for tired compromises. We took the better components and made them work together in a better manner to lower resistance – resistance results in heat, heat limits controllers’ power. We’ve designed the circuit boards in a new manner to reduce resistance and we’ve added a new highly efficient heat sink to help the controller keep it’s cool.
OK, so what does this mean to me?
Mamba Micro Pro can handle more power for longer periods. Run larger motors in your cars, run larger cars with the same controller. Run in tall grass with no worries of thermal.
Mamba Micro Pro is priced the same as the old Mamba-25, yet it offers up to twice the performance.

Castle Creations Mamba Micro Pro 1/18th Scale Extreme Brushless Car Package (6800KV)
I purchased this system a while back and installed it in my RC18T2 kit. This was my first sensorless brushless system and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from it. I finished the kit and have been running the Mamba Micro for a while and I really enjoy it. I really like the feel of the Mamba esc, and I like the number of programming options. The CM2068 motor is extremely powerful, which surprised me given its small size. I use the stock spur and an 11 tooth pinion with a MaxAmps Life 1050 pack and everything runs fast and very cool. I am not using a computer or the Castle Link, so setup was a bit confusing initially but I have it mastered now. I get an occasional hesitation from a dead stop, but overall the system is smooth and once you are out running in the elements the occasional hesitations are really not noticeable. The system is actually better than I expected it to be, and the amount of power available in such a small package is very impressive. In addition, the sensorless operation is simple and makes wiring easier, especially when working with small kits.
