Tekin Redline SC4X Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
I have this in the Losi SCTE, which is a heavy beast at almost 7# without electrics, along with the RX8 ESC. Tons of torque even without bumping the timing with the Hotwire.

If you are running a lot of timing and it is over heating try dropping your pinion a tooth or two. I actually post faster lap times with the smaller pinion since you are taking better advantage of the timing boost and it gives the truck much more punch when you hit the throttle. General rule for this series of motors, the higher the timing the smaller the pinion.

I come off the track at about 140 when geared correctly and SCTE is out running the lighter SC10 4x4 in the straights. If you are over-heating this or any motor for that matter you are not geared right.

Tekin Redline SC4X Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
I highly recommend this motor. I went from a novak 4.5 to this bad boy and gained way more torque. The top end is exactly the same. This motor does run warmer though, after 8 min. its at 150. I've seen it get to 175 after 15 mins. If you want long run times I recommend running a fan on the motor. With this motor I can clear the triple at my local track all the way through the battery. With the novak it was only the first 5 minutes.

Tekin Redline SC4X Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
Put this motor in my Jammin SCRT10 with pro series ESC and the truck is an animal it is FAST runs cool all the time right threw two batteries i even lowered my throttle down to 80% its to fast on the track! It does cost a little more than the other motors but u get what u pay for its worth the extra money!

Tekin Redline SC4X Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
Awesome electric engine.
This piece produces so much torque that my Losi TEN-SCTE accelerates like a rocket. Overheat is not an issue if you are following correct gearing and timing rules. I'm also using this one w/Tekin RX8.

This motor is a cool beast. Running in my Jammin SC and it runs very cool on a 17t pinion. DO NOT HESITATE! It is awesome.
