Totally agree philip, this is an awesome motor in my losi 8ight 2.0 truggy, 14 tooth pinion and it is still too fast for the track, lots of smooth torque, also i have three cars, all with tekin motors in them and they have NEVER failed me, im sure there is the odd occurence of a faulty one making it into circulation, but this isnt the norm for tekin... their stuff works!

Tekin Redline T8 1/8th Scale Truggy Competition Brushless Motor (2000kV)
This is one terrific motor. I'm using it in my 8ight-T 2.0. It is a total speed burner. When I use this motor with an IP 6800 70C 4S lipo paired up with a Speed Passion SA ESC, it is unbelievable. It's been going strong after hours and hours of use. I highly recommend it.

Awesome motor and awesome torque for a 2000kv motor. Don't let one bad review make your decision. I have this motor in my D8T truggy and only on 4s and it runs consistantly smooth and cool. I have lots of brutal races on it and some fast speed runs and no problemo. I hope to try all the Tekin motors out.

I bought this unit as a combo esc with motor. 1-24-2011...The first time I used it it broke and shut off. I sent it in . Three weeks later I ran it for 2 races and the esc went out again. I sent it in, purchased a back up so I wouldn't be without, raced for 5 races and ten heats motor exploded. traveled from Arizona to Oregon to race in HDRC races and after traveling 1400 miles. I couldn't finish the race . NO MOTOR. I will be sending it back. to get it repaired.... Should you buy one???/ What would the fine be for calling TEKIN a bunch of&**(&^$#%^&() ?? JMO I wouldn't purchase another Tekin if I was married to The owner..
