Reedy 2S Hard Case LiFe Battery Pack 30C (6.6V/4000mAh)
I purchased this pack for my Factory Team T4.1 about four weeks ago. I don't like the safety issues associated with Lipos since I have several small children in the house. I also don't like the low C rating, memory effect, and discharge curve of NIMH batteries. I was skeptical about the lower voltage - so I stepped up my motor from a Novak 8.5 to a Novak 6.5. After several runs I have to say I am VERY impressed with this battery! Excellent runtime (15-20 minutes) and it has a fairly flat discharge curve. Power is excellent through 80-90% of runtime. I am using a Futaba 3050 digital servo, a Novak GTB2 with Ballistic 6.5, and an Airtronics MX3X. I have no glitching or power issues, my system is fast and smooth. The 6.5 is very fast - faster than the 8.5 on good Nimh cells, even with the Life pack. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone looking for a safe alternative to Lipos and NIMH packs. I hope this review helps those who are curious about Life packs.
