Chico, California, February 17, 2010 – A Main Hobbies today announced a ProTek R/C brand Lithium Polymer 4-cell hard case power battery pack for radio controlled cars, with 5400mAh of capacity and a true 35C constant discharge rate. This battery is ROAR approved and can be used at all racing events and tracks that require approved batteries.
This pack includes includes an integrated balance charge lead with a Deans style T-plug installed for a convenient connection capable of handling extremely high amp rates. While the 5-pin Align/E-Flite style XH connector provides compatibility with one of the most common varieties of balance tap connection.
These battery packs are built using a hard plastic pack that is required for use at ROAR sanctioned tracks and events. The packs are designed to for racing 1/8 scale off-road electric vehicles, such as electric 1/8 buggies and 1/8 truggies.
