This is the optional MIP Eco All-in-1 Aluminum "BOX" 3 Gear Transmission. The proven MIP Box transmission case has been refined, and is now the Eco All-In-1 Box Set! Now, both B5M and T5M owners can take advantage of the of the benefits of a precision machined transmission case. The Eco All-In-1 Box Set, is compatible with all AE and MIP Top shafts for the B5M and T5M platforms. Just as important, MIP was also able to shave over 10% of the weight from the original box design!
This 3-gear transmission for the Team Associated B5M and T5M bridges gap and gives your mid motor vehicle all the benefits of the rear motor car but less drag and more initial punch. Not only does the BOX eliminate one idler gear to equate to less drag but it’s all aluminum construction offers a huge advantage pertaining to more precise internal gear mesh, less overall heat, and stiffer bracing.

- Aluminum construction acts as a giant heat sink which will cool the motor offering more consistent power due to reduced fade (less heat more power).
- Aluminum offers stiffer bracing over plastic OEM case.
- Aluminum 3-gear MIP Transmission package is relatively the same overall weight as OEM 4-gear transmission. This will keep the weight distribution the same as what the car was designed to have. (MIP BOX 5.5 grams heavier)
- Motor offset 3mm to the right to optimize left to right weight distribution and balance (small spacer and spring provided to accommodate this feature)

MIP Eco All-in-1 Aluminum "BOX" 3 Gear Transmission
Bought this for my T5M, and since the install I love it! Instead of doing the AE swap I did this and it has paid off. not only do you get the advantages of 3 gear set up you get everything MIP says in the description make no reservations! Get one your motor will thank you in temp drops and more ability to gear! I already have one waiting for my SC5M.

MIP Eco All-in-1 Aluminum "BOX" 3 Gear Transmission
This trans case from MIP is seriously perfect, everything fits great. I am running Boca Yellow Seal Bearings in my B5M, and they fit like a glove in the case. If you have the money, and like running the best stuff, this should be at the top of your list of upgrade parts. I scored one on Ebay for an unbeatable price, but 110.00 is still a good price for this case.
