The Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02L 1969 Chevy Chevy El Camino ReadySet takes the standard Fazer touring car chassis and combines it with the latest “Ultra Scale Body” to more accurately replicate the fine details of the full size car. A simplified design with fewer parts has improved maintenance efficiency and reduced weight while core strength and rigidity has been increased through new materials and ribbing and stiffeners on front and rear. In addition, the symmetrical chassis design synergizes excellent front-rear balance through the suspension with responsive control, irrespective of power source. Featuring slipper clutch, front & rear gear differentials, oil shocks and full ball bearing specs, the high durability and impact resistance allows drivers to unleash the full potential of the chassis. Brake disc wheel hubs with two different offsets (0mm, +5mm) provide compatibility with 190mm and 200mm width body styles and allows the wheelbase to be adjusted to 260mm by replacing some parts (sold separately) for compatibility with other 1/10 scale body styles, in addition to the body included. The Readyset package comes fully assembled and includes everything except charger and battery for the chassis, and batteries for the transmitter.

Features:
  • “Ultra Scale Body” replicates the fine details of the actual body of the car. Kyosho took a step further in scale realism.
  • New design shaft drive full-time 4WD touring chassis (FZ02L)
  • Factory-assembled Readyset package only requires 4 x AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter, and battery with charger for the chassis.

  • Belt mounting battery compartment allows various battery types to be used.

Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02L 1969 Chevy El Camino ReadySet
I own a 1969 396ss black basically exact replica. Very cool. Rc car is fast battery lasts a long time. Does donuts no problems. You can also drift the car and do hole shots. I’m an avid rc truck enthusiast, kraton 8s my current truck.
Overall, rc car is an awesome example of my real 69 elco!!

Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02L 1969 Chevy El Camino ReadySet
Overall a fun car to drive. I do have a problem with the quality of the Car and the Company. The first week I owned the car the driveshaft broke so the car is now only rear-wheel drive. The decals are trash and they peel off the moment you get them. The tires are also trash and they need replacing after 3 batteries. The other problem I have is the company. I originally wanted the Kyosho Fazer Mk2 Dodge Charger back in March. I backorder the car and wait. Kyosho said the shipment would be in at the latest late June. Late June comes and goes and no car. I respond again and I get told by customer service that The car will be shipped in August. I eventually give up and buy this car. It is mid-October and there is no sign of the car showing up. Overall fun car but buy another 1/10 scale car and buy the body instead.

Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02L 1969 Chevy El Camino ReadySet
Unfortunately had to give this only 3 stars because the body of car had scratches in multiple areas and missing a body clip to hold side mirror in place. Quality control has been an issue with rtr cars.
Car itself is great fun out of the box. Although I feel it would be a much better car if it were brushless. Love the detail of the body. Mounted light buckets make installing a light kit super easy. Suspension flows nicely while driving around. Rear suspension allows the rear tires to rub the inside of the body and rubs the paint off.

Nice looking car BUT The stickers on the hood are all coming up and there are bubbles underneath the stickers. It really ruins the look of the car. UNCOOL!

Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02L 1969 Chevy El Camino ReadySet
Seriously great value. I was first sold on the Fazer when a buddy showed us how durable it is, bashing it hard with no breakages. Great parking lot basher but can handle just about anything you throw at it. I would recommend getting spare tires and perhaps a basher body as both are very nice, too nice to beat up! Controller feels great and has many features. Plenty fast on 2s.

El Camino is awesome. I waited a while to get since it’s been back order but I didn’t care because I really wanted one so I order it and all I can say is that the waiting for it to get it was worth it because it’s an awesome looking car, very detail like the real deal haha
