Hitec HS-625MG Metal Gear Super Torque Servo
Bought one at the local hobby shop and it never made a sound.. nothing.. I took it back and they did not refund or exchange it so I basically threw the money in the toilet. I threw the servo in the trash and got a different one on line and decided against buying from the shop. I like to support local business but when they don't support the customer it creates a bit of tension.

Hitec HS-625MG Metal Gear Super Torque Servo
It says hi torque but on my rock crawler it literally turns the wheels one way or the other doesn't center. When I say one way or the other I mean I'll turn it off, turn it on in the wheels return to the right I'll turn it off center the wheels by hand turn it on the wheels will turn to the left but not center or turn back to the right. Every time I disconnect my steering assembly from the servo it has full range of motion again. On top of that they include the cheapest hardware you could possibly find I stripped the screw tightening it the very first time not overtightening it the threads were not fully hidden in the screw was completely stripped

Hitec HS-625MG Metal Gear Super Torque Servo
When I was racing back in the days I used to run only hitec servos. I got this to replace an RTR servo and i was very disappointed, the first minor crash and the gears broke. I was able to swap out the broken gear from another servo i had and it seems to be working ok now. I guess for the price I should not expect more.

Hitec HS-625MG Metal Gear Super Torque Servo
this is one looser of a servo, unless you just want to steer right,or never go straight also very noisy. I called hi-tek and left a message with a salesman telling them to bump up there quality control.
