Hitec D956WP D-Series Waterproof Metal Gear Digital Servo (High Voltage)
Perfect for a 1/10 RC Crawler. Accepts wide range of voltage for your needs.

I bought this servo because I have been flying RC planes for many decades and Hitec is one of the most trusted brands (up there with Futaba, JR, etc). I just don't trust the new brands as much...

I was hesitant to buy the highly recommended Savox servos. I've heard mixed reviews of the lesser known servo brands, including expensive Savox and especially the cheap $25 amazon 20kg servos. They jitter, make a lot of noise, and don't center well. I've heard of of $85 Savox servos fail prematurely...

I chose this servo because it has high torque, waterproof, all metal gears. Basic needs for an RC crawler servo. I use a HeyOK Performance No Brainer BEC with voltage set to 7.0v and it powers the servo very well. Very strong, excellent centering, and minimal noise.

A great feature is the soft start. When you power on your RC Crawler, if the wheels are not straight, the servo will slowly straighten letting you it's ready to run. Rather than abruptly snapping straight when you turn on your RC and possibly damaging gears, parts. It feels like an expensive servo.

Yes, it's expensive but IMO worth every penny. It has more features than I even know what to do with...
