E-flite Pitts S-1S BNF Basic Electric Biplane w/AS3X & SAFE Select (850mm)
Received my plane today , not impressed that the motor is fitted on an angle , plane wants to go in circles on the ground ( right) , tried to contact again asking the question why it’s been fitted like that but I can’t send it as it says” invalid “ so I can’t get any answers, I have bought quite a bit from here but i am reluctant to buy any more , other planes purchased were just fine , very disappointed

E-flite Pitts S-1S BNF Basic Electric Biplane w/AS3X & SAFE Select (850mm)
Great plane, flys awesome, but don't trust the as3x.I programed to be off, and on 5th flight it turned on making the plane uncontrollable, and crashed.

E-flite Pitts S-1S BNF Basic Electric Biplane w/AS3X & SAFE Select (850mm)
The plane flies great and looks amazing for a foamy. Had it up in 10-12mph winds and it was locked in once I got the gain on the AS3X dialed in. 3s 2200mah is acrobatic and 4s 2200mah is an absolute blast. It landed on soccer field grass just fine, but the wheels are hard plastic so it was a little bouncy.

I'm using a Tx16s running EdgeTx so I had to use the DSMTools lua script by frankiearzu to get everything functioning the way I wanted to which required doing a factory reset. I also switched mine to use 2 channels for the ailerons rather than the included splitter.

This would be a five star plan except for the battery being about 4-5" too far forward. I threw out the tray it came with and designed/printed my own bolt in tray to get the CG correct. I don't even see how you could mount a battery on the included tray and get near the recommended CG. One good thing is there are foam edges about 10mm wide running down both sides of interior of the fuselage. They are high enough to clear the servos such that you could easily cut a balsa or coroplast battery tray and glue it in place if you don't have a 3d printer.

So if your looking at this plane be prepared to either 3d print a battery tray. Other than that it is an amazing plane and the AS3X system makes it fly on rails.

E-flite Pitts S-1S BNF Basic Electric Biplane w/AS3X & SAFE Select (850mm)
This is my 2nd one the first one I purchased a year ago, I did get 8 flights out of it then the ar621 lost programing in flight and crashed esc burnout, So about a 2mths ago order another one did a 5min flight it handle great take off was perfect landing was great put it away a month later decide to get it out and fly it again no motor operation and controls started to act up again try rebinding it no good pulled the E-Flite 40amp esc lite out, installed a 40amp predator esc works great motor fires up controls are working like they should e-flite products are going down hill. and on my E-Flite Habu SS 70mm 8 flights on it and on the 9th flight no control and crash esc really hot and smells burnt and that's on a 3.50 min flight and uses the same esc, E-Flite needs to get a new company to make there esc but the planes handle great when the electronics work
