ECX RC Ruckus "Limited Edition" 1/10 Monster Truck RTR w/Spektrum 2.4GHz Radio (Orange)
I just got one of these and I am very impressed. I have been in this hobby for many years and I have owned and driven just about everything. This is by far the best sub $200 RC I have ever owned! Its not the fastest or most powerful thing on the block, but it certainly has enough power and top speed to have fun with. I like the looks and it has been very durable so far. I have hit curbs, trees and other RC's without any broken parts. The other nice thing is that savage size bodies will fit, so there are tons of options there. The only complaint I have is that the radio range isnt that great, but for $150 bucks, I can live with it. Buy this truck, you wont regret it!
UPDATE: I have had this truck for a few months now and recently installed a castle creations sidewinder brushless system. I started off running on a 2S lipo and I was honestly expecting the gears to call it quits, but everything held up fine! I got brave the other day and tried a 3S lipo, and WOW! The power and speed was unreal and with the slipper tightened all the way nothing broke! This truck just keep on impressing me, buy one.

You cannot base a truck on its speed. this is a beginners truck, which means its going to be SLOW. open your freakin' eyes and look at the price, too. numbnuts.

Still waiting for mine to a rriv e , Fr id a y is the day. THIS is for the guys that are comparing a Prius to a Lamborghini,...You are paying $129,NOT $3-400 Plus,And,If you would take the time to reasearch the Electrix line,More and more parts are coming available for Hop-Ups,..These can be upgraded to BRUSHLESS,and it is interchangeable as far as some parts/Bodies,Wheels,Tires,with HPI MTs,and others,You will End up Building a Truck that is COMPARABLE With Any Traxxas VXL,and Still NOT have Broken The Bank By Far. OUT OF THE BOX,It is what It Is,No More,No Less, makes NO claims of Top Speeds ,so,Do some Research before you start to Bad Mouth what can eventually be turned into a Very Cool,Very Quick/Fast Off Road MT. I know what I'm getting,I'm a Disabled Desert storm Vet,my Wife is going through Chemotherapy and have to do my builds/Hop-Ups slowly because of finances. I have heard MOSTLY GOOD Things as far as durability,so,It's going to be Brushless in a couple of months, along with some Mods. SO,If you think you are getting a Bad Deal with this truck at $129,I CHALLENGE YOU to find anything out there comparable,..To the satisfied Electrix Circuit/Ruckus owners,I can't WAIT to join your ranks and see you in the Forums, hopefully Electrix sets up a User Forum on their site,CUSTOMER SERVICE is Also VERY HELPFUL,had a couple of qusetions before I pulled the trigger and ordered from A MAIN,DAVID W there is the reason I went for it.
THANKS,

In order to make the Traxxas Stampede go 65MPH, you need to spend around $400. This truck costs $130. that's a ridiculous comparison to make between these trucks.

This truck is just like the curcuit, weak, slow and pathetic. It also looks ugly. I say get a traxxas stampede. If speed is your thing, get the vxl with a 65mph top speed. Or if your on a budget, you can get a stampede xl-5 for about $200. It will still go 35mph right out of the box and is also water proof unlike this peice of s@#%
