The Traxxas TRX-4 LED Power Supply is a regulated, 3V, 0.5-amp power source designed to work with Traxxas LED lights (TRA8025, TRA8026, TRA8027).

Adding LED lighting components to your TRX-4 is simple with the waterproof Traxxas power supply. This unit provides stable, regulated output with batteries ranging from NiMH to 3S LiPo. The power supply connects to the receiver and electronic speed control to provide single-point control of your lighting components, and the included 3-in-1 wire harness allows the full lighting setup to be connected with a single plug.

Traxxas TRX-4 LED Power Supply
I had to buy two of these because the first one I installed incorrectly. Adding to my inexperience, Traxxas doesn't clearly label positive and negative wires that lead to the power from the esc. This is no big deal if you are using a Traxxas esc, but I am not. After blowing the capacitor, I ordered another. I contacted Traxxas chat this time and asked which wire was the positive because I was connecting it to a non-Traxxas esc. They told me "cannot guarantee compatibility with other brands" or some garbage like that without giving me an answer. I did a little research on Youtube and did some continuity tests, finding it is the white-hashed wire (of course). However, when I plugged in the Traxxas TRX-4 Headlight & Tail Light LED Set, all the lights were already blown. There was 6 volts coming from the 8028 power source, but no lights. I experimented with another LED I had and it worked. So I'm giving this two stars because Traxxas has lousy customer service and should have labeled the wires to begin with. How hard is it to print a stupid "+" or "-" on the wires?? I'm not sure if I'll buy any of their products again.
