This is the Castle Creations Sidewinder SV3 WP 1/10 ESC and Brushless Motor Combo, including a 1406 7700kV Brushless and Sensored Motor. Castle’s Sidewinder ESC is now waterproof! The Sidewinder 3 can power crawlers on water filled trails, AWD's in rain soaked parking lots, and SCT's on adventures through muddy fields. Drivers can now give in to those irresistible urges to drive in the mud or rip through puddles without damaging their ESC.

NOTE: Sensored capabilities of the motor cannot be utilized with the Sidewinder 3. If you require sensored operation you will need a sensored ESC like the Castle Creations Mamba X (CSE010-0155-00).

Designed for 1/10th
The Sidewinder 3 is a great fit for 1/10th off-road, on-road, and rock crawlers running up to 3S LiPo. It features updated circuitry for faster response time and improved reliability. As always, the Sidewinder 3 offers industry-leading software functions and USB programming capability via Castle Link USB adapter (sold separately).

Castle Creations Sidewinder SV3 Waterproof 1/10 ESC/Motor Combo (7700kV)
Put this in my team losi 22s sct, its got more power than I know what to do with. Wheel standing torque at almost any speed, all with just a 2s lipo. Definitely worth every penny.

Castle Creations Sidewinder SV3 Waterproof 1/10 ESC/Motor Combo (7700kV)
Although motor is sensored, the esc is not so not I have a motor constantly cogging.. Was told Castle products are great but this combo is worse than any of my Spektrum combos and cost more to boot. Go Spektrum if you looking for a lower priced good motor esc combo or make sure you get castle copperhead esc which has the capability

Castle Creations Sidewinder SV3 Waterproof 1/10 ESC/Motor Combo (7700kV)
Bought this for some speed for my on road car, bought the fan to keep it cool and still can’t get it to stop overheating. Called customer service and basically from what they said was I would have to run bigger gears to slow my car down for it to stop overheating. It really just took a little longer than one run down the street to overheat. In my opinion it’s a junky speed control with a good name. The motor would hold up if paired with something to handle to power this motor can pull with a 3s lipo.
