Hot Racing Aluminum Standard Servo Adapter for Traxxas X-Maxx/Maxx
For a Maxx, this is the way to go. The plastic one from traxxas tends to flex out from under the screws, but this one is rigid.

I put a savox servo in my xmaxx and this fit perfectly!! super impressed. rigid aluminum is way better than the plastic one.
